On a fine summer’s day, a good field of ‘wannabe’ golfers lined up for a combined Irish Stableford sponsored by Jason Lawer and Jack Parker. Thank you, Jason, and Jack. A strong field of 58 golfers set out on Saturday 3rd to compete in the first event for 2026 which was the January Monthly Medal and the 1st Round of the Foundation Cup in warm and what turned out to be wet conditions. The course is starting to show the effects of the dry weather with some dry areas on the fairways but overall is still in very good condition and this showed in the scoring which was equally good.
