A small field of 37 golfers set out to compete in the Single Stableford event on Saturday the 15^{th of} November under cloudy and potentially stormy skies. The rains did eventually come, and most players got through their 18 holes unscathed. But when it did rain it did get cold and wet to which the writer can attest to. The course is in excellent condition, and this was reflected in the scoring. The event was generously sponsored by members Kev Rowling and Rod Werner, and we thank them for their support. The men’s winner was young gun Riley Surch who won with an excellent score of 48 points on a countback from playing partner Kaine Doorley. Well done guys.

Men’s pin shots went to Greg Fraser on 3, Michael O’Brien on 12 and Wes Smith on 17. Some great approaches were won by Kev Rowling (1/10), Richard Reardon (5/14) and Matt Waterworth on (9/18).

In the Ladies event first place went to Deb Joyce on 44 points followed by Nikki Waterworth on 37 points. Ladies pin shots were won by Filomena Silver on 12 and Lisa Stuart on 17. Approach shots went to Lynette Ludlow (2/11) and Trish Fittock (7/16).
