A small field of 37 golfers set out to compete in the Single Stableford event on Saturday the 15 th of  November under cloudy and potentially stormy skies. The rains did eventually come, and most players got through their 18 holes unscathed. But when it did rain it did get cold and wet to which the writer can attest to. What an extraordinary day’s play was held at Stanthorpe on Saturday; wind, rain – perfect! Thunder … hmm. Lightening? And we headed for the Club house.
