A big field of golfers played in the Stableford competition on Saturday the 3 rd October. It was a perfect sunny day and with plenty of run on the course low scoring was expected. The competition was generously sponsored by Stanthorpe Amcal Chemist, and we thank them for their sponsorship.

Visiting golfers from City GC and Cairns GC also enjoyed the competition.

The Men’s winner with a great score of 41 points on a countback was Tod Beckett and coming in second place was Rino Piovesan. Men’s pin shots went to Ivan Juriss on 3 and Jason Ward on 17.

Men’s approaches were won by Grant Howard (1/10), Scott Constable (5/14) and Nathan Stibbard (9/18). Grant also made an amazing eagle on the 6th hole.

The Ladies event was won by Lorraine Evans with a great score of 41 points and also on a count back from Cairns visitor Rosemary Birt. Ladies Pin shots went to Neta Thouard on 3, Lorraine Evans on 12
