On a fine summer’s day, a good field of ‘wannabe’ golfers lined up for a combined Irish Stableford sponsored by Jason Lawer and Jack Parker. Thank you, Jason, and Jack. The idea is that teams of two multiply their Stableford points for each hole. If both players have, say, two points each, then they record a score of four. However, if one player has a ‘wash,’ meaning zero points, and say the other player has a good result of say four points, then the combined, multiplied result is zero. Ouch! Congratulations to Chook Hendry and Eric Ree. Runners Up were Gary Kirby and Chris Binge. Nearest the pin shots went to Sandra Ellis, Lynette Ludlow and Lisa Stuart (x3).
