Aqua Rural were the proud sponsors of the day’s play. The Club and Players genuinely appreciate both the friendliness and professional of Aqua Rural and we thank them for their sponsorship. Another highlight of the day was an interview with Rob Reeves. Rob’s daughter, Hannah, once a junior at the Club, is now a Professional and has won several tournaments and gained access to several big tournaments next year. Last week Rob was caddy for Hannah at the Cathedral Golf Club and rubbed shoulders with some of the golfing greats. Adam Scott won the Competition but Hannah put in a very credible performance on a very challenging course.

Congratulations to the Ladies Winners, Nikki Waterworth (41 Stableford points), and runner up was Helen Jones (37 Stableford points). Ladies pin shots were dominated by two sharp shooters, Lisa Stuart (by 2) and Nikki Waterworth by a very impressive 3!

For the men, congratulations to Alexander Smithers on a standout score to 43 Stableford points to win the day’s competition. Runner Up was our favourite Jack Parker on 40 Stableford points. Pin shots went to Jarod Irwin, Matt Waterworth, Mike Middleton, Jason Bacon Jack Parker and Greg Fraser.

Next Saturday the 20^th the Golf will be sponsored by some of our beloved senior players locally known as ‘Dad’s Army’. It will be a 4BBB with a shot gun start at noon.
