Unfortunately wet weather caused another Saturday competition to be rained out.

This week a thunder storm played havoc and most players were unable to complete their round.

Nonetheless the storm didn’t deter members and their families from attending the Club’s annual Christmas Party and trophy presentation for the Ladies and Men’s player of the year.

For the 4th year running the Men’s player of the year is Scott Constable. It’s been another good year for Scott as he is also the Club Champion.

Runner up is Mick O’Brien who was also runner up last year.

Ladies Player of the Year is Kay Webb. Kay was so chuffed she said she was taking the trophy home to cuddle. Other comments she made are unprintable.

Runner up for the ladies is Lisa Stuart. Lisa joined the Club earlier this year after deciding to take up golf seriously and has had some excellent results.

After the formalities the Christmas party got into full swing with excellent dance music being provided by Club member David Stuart.

Hopefully we’ll get some fine weather this week and the course will dry a little so a competition can be completed next Saturday.

The programmed event is an Individual Stableford sponsored by Aqua Rural Supplies and the time sheet is in the usual place at the Club
