December monthly medal time for Stanthorpe golfers with players competing for the honours with the day sponsored by club members, Eric Ree and Santo Cavallaro and we thank them for the day.
The men’s event was a win to Mark McCosker with steady front and back nine for a nett 67, one shot ahead of Greg Fraser with 68 and runner up on the day. A quick check down the list showed the best gross score of the day was 74 with both Matt Waterworth and Brendon Barker with this total.
The ladies’ medal was won by Nikki Waterworth with a nett 80, just one shot ahead of runner up, Filomena Silver on nett 81. Best gross score for the ladies also went to the winner, Nikki Waterworth.
Pin shots on the day were claimed by Mark Richards at 3, Brendon Barker at 12 and Hamish Adam at 17 for the men and Lyn Ludlow at 12 and Filomena Silver at 17 for the ladies. Pro-pins were won by Matt Penn (two of them), Hamish Adam and Helen Jones.
Next Saturday is a single Stableford with sponsor for the day being Aqua Rural.
