The March monthly medal event held last Saturday attracted a good field of members and included visiting API golfers here in Stanthorpe for the weekend. The day’s competition was sponsored by club member, Alex Vale. Alex could not be with us on the day but we thank him for the trophies.

The men’s event was won by Aaron Simmers with a score of nett 67 for the round. No doubt the handicapper will have a good look at this card. Runner up was Rino Piovesan with nett 70. Best gross score and least number of putts was from Brendon Barker, 76 for the round and 23 putts.

The ladies’ event was won by Trish Fittock with a nett score of 71 and was 4 clear of the field. Another countback gave best gross score to Nikki Waterworth and best putting was from the ladies winner, Trish Fittock, 29 for the round.
