There was enough drama at the Stanthorpe Golf Course on Saturday to make William Shakespeare write another play; The Twelfth Hole staring Reno Piovensan? Or Romeo and Juliet staring Viv and Neta Thouard. There was one Macbeth tragedy too, due to a series of unfortunate events, two players used Wednesday’s preferred lie rule on Saturday, and one with the best score, were tragically disqualified. More drama when Warwick visitor Kris McLennan, playing off Plus 4 handicap, scored 67 off the stick. One shot short of the club record. Kris also won the putting competition with 22 putts.
