Results 4 April 2026

On Saturday the 4 th of April a strong field of 60 members and visitors played in a 4BBB competition.

The competition was generously sponsored by Greg Fraser, Keith Barnett and Mike McAuliffe and we thank them for their sponsorship. Thanks also to Viv and Neta Thouard who brought up a heap of nephews from Brisbane to fill out the field. The day was originally meant to be a Hogmanay Day (Scottish word for the last day of the year) and played at the

end of December and even though it was Easter the day had a distinctly Scottish feel to it.

The winners on the day were Len Leigh and Ian Pickering with an amazing score of 49 nett. Runners up on the day was visitors from Brisbane Will Lathrope and Billy Welsh. Billy had a good day scoring an eagle on the 6th hole. Men’s pin shots went to Brendon Barker on 3, Peter Moll on 12 and Will Lathrope on 17. Great approaches were won by Brendon Barker (1/10), Nick Ree (5/14) and Scott Constable (9/18).

Lisa Stuart had a good day winning the Ladies Pin shots on 12th and 17th and an approach shot on 7/16. Neta Thouard won the pin shot on 3rd and Trish Fittock won the approach on 2/11.
