Results 16 May 2026

We are well into the Club Championships and a big field of 67 golfers played in the second round on Saturday 16^th of May. The weather is cooling down but the golf is still hot with some great scores being returned. The greens are in great conditions after being cored last month. The competition was generously sponsored by members David and Lisa Stuart, and we thank them for their sponsorship.

The Men’s winner with an excellent score of 67 nett was last week’s winner Brad Silver who seems to have hit a bit of form lately. Rob Reeve also had an excellent 67 nett and was runner up on a countback. Men’s pin shots went to Rod Paye on 3, Brendon Barker on 12 and Bruce Green on 17. Men’s approaches were won by Sam Dowie (1/10), David Reeves (5/14) and Brendon Barker (9/18).

The Ladies winner was also last week’s winner Trish Fittock with a good score of 75 nett and runner up was Sandra Ellis on 76 nett. Ladies Pin shots went to Linda Kelly on 3, Sandra Ellis on 12 and Nikki Waterworth on 17. Ladies’ approaches were won by Helen Jones (2/11) and Lorraine Evans (7/16).

Congratulations to all our winners and to everyone who participated in the day. The 3^rd and 4^th rounds of the Club Championships are being played on Saturday and Sunday next week.
