Another good field turned out for an individual stableford sponsored by club member, Darryl Boekholt. Darryl has sponsored an event at the club now for a number of years and we thank him for his continued sponsorship.

The men’s event looked like being a close contest until Brady Morant returned a score of 40 points and be three clear of the field. Brady’s back nine of 21 points was a big help and could have been even better with two holes giving zero points.

Trevor Ludlow’s round produced a score of 37 points and was good enough to lock up runner up spot. Lyle Bryant (36), Alan Kerr (35) and Brian Westerhout (35) featured in the run down.

The ladies’ event saw three players returning best score of 34 points and after the count back was applied, Trish Fittock was declared the winner with the best back nine score. Runner up went to Margie Locke and Lyn Ludlow took the run down honour.

Members would have received an e-mail re future fixtures with the easing of restrictions. There are still important protocols to observe while on the course and members are reminded of these, check the information at the club.
