Last Saturday’s event was a Medley 4BBB Stableford sponsored by the Delaney Family long time sponsors of this event. It was great to see so many of the Delaney family in attendance to have a game and present the trophies.

Winners on a count back with 46 points were Max Hunter and Jake Mills from Mark Hendry and Rino Piovesan.

Max was obviously inspired by his recent page 3 ‘pin up’ photograph as on the number one index hole he recorded a birdie and collected 5 points. He also scored several 3 point holes. Max [with different partners] has now won the Delaney trophy in consecutive years. Well done.

The Delaney’s also provided prizes for the 2nd and 3rd runner’s up which went to Linda Kelly partnered by Barry Hughes and David and Matt Burgess.

The long drives on the 18th were won by Mandy Benussi and David Burgess

Pin shots 3rd Keith Barnett, 12th Mark Hendry and 17th Keith Allen

Approach for the ladies on 12 was Mandy Benussi and 17 Lynette Ludlow

Pro pins were won by Nikki Waterworth 1/10 [good birdie Nikki], Tom Fittock 5/14 and Darrell Boekholt 9/18.

Nobody was good enough to win the birdies nest on 18.

Next Saturday is the final Monthly Medal for the year which will be followed by the Club Christmas party and presentation of the ladies and gents golfer of the year .
