The rain stopped to allow the individual Stableford event to proceed, although the fairways were fairly damp. Sponsor for the day was Reece Plumbing and we thank them for their continued support.
Tod Beckett added another win after his previous win last Saturday. His score of 38 points was one ahead of the field. Two players tied on 37 points and the count back was in favour of Mark Hendry leaving Nathan Stibbard to settle for the run down.
The ladies’ event was dominated by Nikki Waterworth who had best score of 27 points and also collected all three pin shots. Kay Webb collected the runner up prize.
Scott Constable took the pins at 12 and 17 as well as pro-pins at 1/10 and 9/18. Cal Smith won the remaining pro-pin at 5/14.
In the run down, Keith Jones and Alan Kerr were successful.
Next week is the monthly medal and putting competition sponsored by Michael O’Brien. In conjunction will be play for the Dale Mullens Trophy sponsored by Michael Thompson.
