A dismal week of wet weather preceded the Saturday golf competition at Stanthorpe, the rain and wet fairways again forcing cancellation of any play at all. Hopefully the weather will ease off soon allowing the course to dry out and let competition start again.
Long time members of the golf would have difficulty in remembering the last time that a Saturday competition was completely cancelled, let alone two weeks in a row.
Stanthorpe Sporters suffered the same fate, hence no Sunday nine hole competition.
