Another good field for last Saturday’s event, again playing in pairs with social distancing in place. Some very good scores also being returned, no doubt many golfers using their isolation times to good use for lots of practice.
Trevor Ludlow had the best score of 40 points to take the win in the men’s comp. A very steady round of 20 points on each nine for his total. One shot back on 39 points was Paul Mills to take runner up prize. The men’s rundown included Wes Smith (37), Ken Hinze (37) and Brendan Barker (36).
The ladies event was won by Mandy Benussi with 36 points after a countback with Racheal Hendry, also with 36 points. Racheal had to settle for runner up. The ladies run down went to Lyn Ludlow with 35 points.
Next Saturday is another stableford event. Players are urged to use the time sheet and ensure they get their names on the list early, either in the early morning time slots or the afternoon time slots which has a definite cut off point. Either visit the club or get an e-mail to arrange your time.
