The Stanthorpe Bendigo Bank Hello Yellow Charity Golf Day

An excellent field of 60 charitable golfers played in the Bendigo Bank Hello Yellow Cancer Charity Golf Day at Stanthorpe Golf Club in beautiful conditions on Sunday the 31st of August.

There was a mixed field of regular golfers and those having their first hit, and everyone enjoyed the day. The weather was sensational, and a significant amount of money was raised to fight cancer.

Thanks to the large contingent of golfers who came up from Warwick and helped to make the day the success it was. A big thank you to the local community Bendigo Bank for sponsoring the day.

Good scores are normally seen in Ambroses and today was no exception. The course must have suited our visitors from Warwick and Clifton as M Penn, J Manwaring and J Washbourne took out first place with an excellent 60 nett after shooting a 65 off the stick. Coming in a very close second place was J Harris, R

Davey and J Saunders with a great score of 61 nett and third place went to L Forbes, N Catterson and J Ollerton on a countback with 61.5 nett. The accuracy drive on 5/14 went to Geoff Hinze for the men and Sandra Ellis for the ladies. Best decorated cart went to Lisa Stuart and best dressed team went to the Bendigo Bank crew.
