From The President
As we start the New Year, I can report that the Club is financially sound, thanks in part to the
Jobkeeper subsidy that expired in September and the tremendous work of our Volunteers.
On the subject of Covid, thank you for adapting to the changing Covid restrictions both on the course
and in the clubhouse. The latest requirement is the need for Electronic Record Keeping of Patrons
to our facilities and we have implemented the QR Code system. Please use your mobile phone to
register your presence (whether the clubhouse is open or not). Our bar staff have a tablet to assist
you to register if you do not have a compatible phone. The Covid Specials we had during last year for Visitors/Non Members will cease from 1 March 2021.
Discounts on Green Fees and Cart Hire will continue only for Members, Members’ Guests, Reciprocal
Members and Large Social Groups.
2021 Membership Invoices have been emailed or posted and payment is due by 28 February 2021.
The Membership fee has not increased and this is possible because of the significant volunteer
contribution that we have in our club. As is the case with many clubs these days, we cannot afford
to operate without volunteer contribution and we sincerely thank them all. We still have lots of
“little” things that need doing so if you are able to help out in any way please let us know.
We encourage
cart and social golf bookings via the website or our email . Cart
Bookings fill quickly so we encourage you to book in advance, particularly on busy golf days.

From The Greens Director
It is disappointing to see divot marks on
tees and fairways; unrepaired pitch marks on greens; tyre marks on the edges of greens; bottle tops
strewn around the course; cigarette butts in sand buckets, bunkers and garden beds; and bins being
used incorrectly. Please repair divot and pitch mark damage of yours and others as you play. Paths should be used as much as possible by carts and they should be kept at least
10 metres from greens. Please follow all directional signs and use the appropriate rubbish bins.
To deter
wildlife (particularly snakes), golfers should ensure the toilet doors near the 8th tee are kept shut at
all times.
In order to bring the greens up to standard we will be aerating and top dressing during late March.
A reminder that cart bookings should be made through the clubhouse, website or email so that
arrangements can be made to put them out in time for your booking. When the clubhouse is closed
please do not approach our mowing staff to request them to stop mowing to get carts out.
Golfers are encouraged to check the Local Rules Board & Noticeboards.
Also please refer to
noticeboards for any changes to Covid Rules/Restrictions (eg. Flagsticks, NTPs, Bunkers, etc). We will
amend as information/guidelines come to hand.
